As a recipient of the 2023 Prague Quadrennial U.S. National Student Exhibition, I presented my original installation, Missing Seat at the Tea Party, as part of the Emerging Designers showcase.

The piece featured an Elizabethan corset constructed from upcycled vintage Coogi jeans, staged on a bed of denim to symbolize the circularity and enduring legacy of the material. Through this work, I explored themes of absence, identity, and sustainability—reclaiming historical silhouettes with a contemporary, waste-conscious approach.

The installation offered a commentary on who has historically been left out of the narrative and invited viewers to reflect on fashion’s role in both memory and renewal.
